About

Molly Parrish • Founder of Polished Public Relations

Molly Parrish’s recipe for success is simple:  love what you do, believe in your clients, continually challenge yourself, and most importantly, have fun.  She works with businesses that align with her company’s mission and that she knows are doing great, unique things.  Parrish brings clients like Sinless Margarita, Tin Lizzy’s, Bert’s Big Adventure and more together for co-branding opportunities whenever possible, and knows that as much as she helps her clients, they are helping her, too.

Before founding her own company in March of 2009, Parrish was an account executive at KC Public Relations, where she was responsible for assisting Atlanta malls, boutiques, restaurants and hotels in communications, media strategies, and corporate-driven programs and events, including the hugely attended and popular July 4th at Lenox Square.  She also assisted in coordinating a book signing with Jimmy Carter, which led to them becoming fast friends on Facebook and Twitter (ok, so that last part isn’t true, but Parrish is a pro in the world of social media).

Prior to KCPR, Parrish was a media specialist with Habitat for Humanity International and gained experience pitching national media outlets like CNN and Good Morning America, and implementing cross-promotional programs involving companies like Whirlpool, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.  She hadn’t been with Habitat for long when Hurricane Katrina hit, throwing the organization for a loop.  Parrish traveled to New Orleans, lived out of a suitcase for weeks and got her hands dirty to help the devastated city.

When she’s not acting as CEO, CFO, janitorial manager and director of human resources at Polished PR, Parrish enjoys attending costumed events, working out and spending time with family and friends.  She lives in Buckhead with her fiancé Joel and Polished PR’s top intern, Peter Frampton, an 80-pound Goldendoodle.

Parrish has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Auburn University.
